When will the major media companies get a clue?
This is what happens when Steve can’t get to watch his top model faves, especially when the videos did work when the latest season series had just started…
CWTV Representative,
Your policy of not displaying supporting videos on your website outside the United States is hypocritical and entirely unjustified WHEN you air the said shows on Canadian network tv channels. By not allowing legitimate viewers and fans of your shows to watch these videos only further induces anger and frustration toward your network – its simply makes no sense if the show airs on TV, why can’t we watch the videos? It IS technically possible to limit IP addresses to countries who do legally air your shows.
This policy, as with other major US networks, only further pushes the fans to look for your materials elsewhere, most notably on non-legitimate avenues at best, which is a very sad statement on CW’s part in how it treats its fan base. When will you companies get a clue and understand that by limiting the content you are only harming YOURSELVES in the process and LOSING fans and support for you network?! Your site then becomes completely worthless and leave the fan base no other choice but to look elsewhere – doesn’t this break the number one rule in brand protection and customer loyalty? – tell your executives to get a clue!
Frustrated fan-
